Land Recording:  $7.00 for first page, then $5.00 for each additional page.  Documents included, but not limited to: mortgages, assignments, releases, affidavits, tax liens, easements, corner certificates, subordinations.

Land Recording Conveyances:  $7.00 for first page, then $5.00 for each additional page plus $5.00 Auditor fee per parcel.  A parcel is:  1) all contiguous land lying within a numbered section 2) all contiguous land lying within a platted block.  Auditor's fee shall not exceed $50.00 per document.  

Surveys:  $7.00 for first page, then $5.00 for each additional page.

Multi-Purpose Recording:  instruments that reference multiple documents or re-recorded documents.  $7.00 for first page, then $5.00 for each additional page plus $7.00 per each additional transaction.

Real Estate Transfer Tax:   Iowa Department of Revenue sales tax on real estate is due on all conveyances in which consideration has been paid and which are not exempt from tax according to Iowa Code Section 428A.2.
